We’ve got a new resident in our farm barn, but he’s not a paying guest! “Tony”, as we’ve christened him, is a Tawny Owl chick and he’s doing well. As you can see from the photograph, he’s not yet got his feathers and until that happens, he’s being well looked after by his parents. It’s always good to see wildlife close-up, especially when birds and animals are living happily alongside man in a commercial farming environment.
Here’s what Tony will look like when he grows up.
