This month (April) we have been busy planting cauliflowers and sweetcorn. Our farm soil has a light texture, which means it warms up early in the spring. This is ideal for transplanting young veg plants. As you can see from the photograph, it’s quite labour-intensive but at least it’s a sitting down job! (on a slow moving tractor). A selection of our farm produce is always available in our farm shop during the summer season. We also stock a wide range of food products from other Lancashire farmers and producers.
